The Yamaha model S 400 is truly a hand crafted piano made in a separate Yamaha factory where they also make their hand made CF concert grands and other CF models.

This instrument is 6'3" and looks as nice as it sounds.

The current equivalent to this piano by Yamaha ( same size grand made in the same way at the special factory ) is the Yamaha model CF4 which retails for over $100,000!!!

This Yamaha is hand made in a similar approach taken by Steinway, Baldwin, Mason & Hamlin, as well as the great European pianos such as Steingraeber, Estonia, Bluthner, Bechstein etc

It has a nice warm and rich sound which will instantly differentiate this Yamaha from the bright metallic sound often associated with Yamaha pianos.
